How to remove the Door lock actuator.  Shown is the passenger door of a RH drive Accord, LH Drive passenger door would be the same. Driver door is almost the same except for an extra linkage to the lock cylinder and connections to the armrest control panel.

Lift the rubber insert from the arm rest recess and remove the screw.
Unclip the inner door handle plastic cover and remove the two screws.
Unclip the door lining from the door using a small plastic pry bar, pry it away a small amount at a time all the way around the two sides and the bottom.

Pull it away an inch or two from the bottom and once all the clips are released gently lift the door liner over the door lock knob.

Do NOT force the top of the door liner too far away from the top of the door. The inner door lock handle is connected to a cable which must be carefully released.
This is the inner door handle cable. I'm standing outside the door looking in through the window.

The cable is held in two places and the outer cable bushing is easily broken.

This is the reason the door liner is supported, not allowed to drop and not pulled too far away at the top.
Outer cable housing released.

There is a clip over the end of the cable pin, this keeps it from falling out of the metal arm.

I had to use a jewellers flat blade and pry between the side of the metal pin and the plastic clip, you will notice that one side of the clip is open to allow it to swing back from the cable pin.

The clip over the end of the cable pin has been released and has been pivoted back from the cable pin.

The cable pin can now be pulled out.
There is a cable plugged into the power window control panel.

Some people remove this panel from the door liner and unplug it before removing the door liner.

However it is easy to reach and unclip at this stage. There is a press lever that needs to be held down as the plug is removed. You can see the blue plug in the picture below.
Door lining sitting on a box and ready for the door light to be unclipped.

Once unclipped, the door liner can be moved to a safe place.
I find it easier to remove the liner with the window down, once the inner door handle is unclipped the window must be wound up before disconnecting the power window switch.

Place a small stool or box under the door liner to stop it moving down and away from the door until the inner door unlock cable is released as any strain on the cable could break the mounting collar.
Peel back the plastic membrane, watch out for the very sticky sealer.
Remove the screw holding the door lock knob.
The lower window gide channel has to be removed to allow the door lock assembley to be takes out.

Take a note of how the rubber strip is located in the removable lower window channel. Pull  out part of the rubber strip and move it up and out of the way.
Undo this bolt and then pull down on the removable lower window channel, it should come away easily. Remove it from the door.
Lower window channel removed from the door.
Undo 3 bolts holding the door lock mechanism to the side of the door, these can be very hard to remove, do not hit them as the metal mounting points on the door are thin and can be easily deformed.

Unclip the manual unlock leaver from the door lock mechanism, it's inside the door torwards the top of the mechanism, then slide the door lock assembly out until the electrical sockets are accessible.
Unplug the two control cables. Each has a press clip that locks them in place.
View of the the two control cable plugs.
Unclip the inner door handle cable retaining clip and remove the cable from the plastic liner and out through the hole in the door frame, then remove the assembley.

Door lock assembly removed.
The side mirror cover is held on by clips and simply pulls off.
